Chef
Full-Time and Part-Time
Duties:

To support the chef manager and the head chefs in the general running of the kitchen.

To ensure the kitchen meets high standards of quality.

To prepare the food for cooking
-
To ensure that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
-
To prepare the food for cooking.

To follow the budget set by the Chef Manager.
-
To ensure standard portions and quality of dishes.
-
To study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
-
To Cook food in a timely manner.
-
To ensure appealing plate presentation.
-
To slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt,
remove dairy).
-
To monitor food stock and place orders.
-
To check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
-
To experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients.
-
To ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

Requirements/Qualifications:
-
Good knowledge of Thai food.
-
Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook.
-
Culinary school diploma preferred.
-
Preferable 3 years relevant experience.
-
Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment and best practices.
-
Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
-
Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.
-
Excellent time management abilities.
-
Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
-
Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
-
Bilingual English/ Thai a plus.
